Check out Discovery Education Web 2011
I found a great resource this week that I wanted to share with some of my fellow tech teachers. Discovery Education has put together this great resource for parents, students and educators to explore and use web 2.0 tools. The site compiles a lot of the technologies we've gone over in our degree program and even lists out a few applications I haven't seen before. One of the more interesting programs that caught my eye was polleverywhere.com which allows you to create a poll that collects information from mobile phones. I highly recommend checking this site out, if not for yourself maybe to demonstrate and pass on some of the technologies to others.
